Musician. 1994. Oil on canvas, 90x60 cm
This painting is part of a larger series of works on the spirit of music that’s present in the waves of sound. Attention is drawn to the musician’s hands, because when music is created through a person, his hands themselves become an instrument. This work was made during a period of interest in Buddhism, which is reflected in the Tibetan hat of the musician.
