Snow in Jerusalem. 1994. Paper Cut, Canson 160g, 20x30 cm
Jerusalem – you are so beautiful and different! I admire you at any time of the year!
There is nothing more surprising than the snow in Jerusalem. As if the city is just waiting for winter to take a break from the hot summer and cover houses and streets with a blanket of pure white snow. At first, the city freezes and only the silence of the falling snow fills it. But then the streets are filled with joy and children's laughter – everyone runs out into the streets to enjoy this beauty – to see the Old City, the Western Wall, palms and roses covered with snow. This is a real holiday for everyone!
